Rotaract Club of The Hague International
The Rotaract Club of The Hague International was founded in 2011 by the Rotary Club, The Hague Metropolitan. Based within the heart of the international capital of peace and justice, our Club is part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world.
Our effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach. Since our Club was founded, we have worked together with organisations worldwide to help those in need, both near and far.
What sets our Club apart is the diverse and cohesive community it represents. We bring together dynamic, motivated, and creative individuals from all corners of the globe. With a vibrant membership of 20 individuals representing 12 different nationalities, we stand united by our shared mission of
Service Above Self.
We envision a peaceful society cultivated by our leaders of tomorrow serving to make a positive difference through charity whilst pursuing their dreams.
Our mission is to serve our local and international communities by bringing about positive change through fellowship. We promote integrity, inclusivity and open-mindedness, offering an unparalleled opportunity for young professionals to grow.
Our Core Values include Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity and Leadership, and we encourage all our members to live by these values and act as role models in our community.

- Rotaract The Hague International was, for me, a great way to get started in a new country. It provided me with the opportunity to meet and connect with extraordinary individuals, engage in numerous enriching activities, and relish countless moments of enjoyment. We organised many impactful projects throughout the year.
I especially worked on the end-year fundraiser event. It was an ambitious and far-reaching impact event. It involved the participation of 4 different Rotaract clubs and the collaboration of many other relevant partners. Our shared goal was to extend a helping hand to low-income mothers and their newborns in South Africa. Through this initiative, we were able to provide essential resources for the well-being and survival of the infants. - Rotaract means more to me than just a renowned charity and peer-driven organisation.
It’s a place where I met esteemed entrepreneurs, leaders, judges but most importantly life long friends and connections.
In a world where there is so much devastation, Rotaract and Rotary brings together like-minded individuals who devote their time to assisting those in need. The members are selfless individuals who understand the importance of humanitarian and social impact on those who are less fortunate, both, in developed and developing countries.
The Club will always have a very special place in my heart, and I will always strive to remain an active member where ever I am in the world. - Both my mom and grandfather are part of Rotary and encouraged me to join Rotaract when I moved to the Netherlands. After Covid, I really wanted to volunteer again and hopefully make some new friends. I loved being a part of the Rotaract Club as it was a great way to meet new people who also had a passion for service. I ended up serving as Vice President the year after I joined Rotaract. I hope the Club continues to grow and has new projects to contribute locally and internationally!!
- Joining Rotaract the Hague International has been an incredible experience for me! As an international moving to the Netherlands, Rotaract was not only a way to give back to society but also a place to meet cool, passionate and like-minded people!
